Landscape Design & Installation

Landscape design

A good landscape starts with a plan. We look at how you use the yard, where the sun falls and how water moves, then lay out beds, plants and hardscape that fit.

What is included

What a design covers

  1. Site and sun

Where the shade falls through the day, where water sits after a storm, and what is already worth keeping.

  2. Layout

Bed shapes, paths, patios and lawn areas drawn around how you actually use the space.

  3. Plant palette

Plants chosen for the light, the soil and the size they will reach, not only how they look in the pot.

  4. The build plan

Irrigation, lighting, curbing and finishes worked out up front, so the install goes in right the first time.

Florida know-how

Designing for Florida, not a catalog

Florida yards have their own rules. Sandy soil drains fast and holds few nutrients. Summer brings heavy afternoon rain, then winter and spring can go weeks without it. Near the coast, salt spray and wind shape what will thrive.

A plan that respects those conditions pays off for years. Plants placed for their mature size do not swallow windows or walkways. Grouping plants by water need lets irrigation run efficiently. Keeping trees and big palms clear of the roofline makes storm season easier.

Our work

Recent work

I can’t say enough about this company. Ben and his crew are top notch. They took their time and completely transformed my landscaping and installed some amazing lighting. Ben even went above and beyond and searched three counties to find the perfect rocks! My house looks amazing and my neighbors are so jealous!

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a design for a small project?

Not always. A single bed or a patch of sod can often be planned on site. For a full yard, a pool area, or anything with hardscape and irrigation, a plan helps every piece fit together.

Can existing plants stay?

Often, yes. Healthy plants in the right spot are worth keeping. They save money and give the new landscape a head start. Plants that are struggling, invasive or too big for their space are usually better replaced.

What does Florida-friendly mean?

Florida-Friendly Landscaping is a University of Florida program built on nine principles, such as right plant, right place, watering efficiently and mulching. It is a practical guide to yards that look good with less water, fertilizer and work.
